Safari Steam North

Lugard II was a side-wheeled paddle steamer launched in 1948, the last paddle steamer for the lakes, built by Fleming and Ferguson of Glasgow, Scotland. It was also used on Lake Albert and was abandoned in 1965 owing to the inundation of the port at Butiaba. (TB Collection)
