Rare bird in Nairobi was 2-8-4 3020 'Nyaturu' which was sent to Nairboi for major surgery after an accident in Tanzania. It became trapped in Kenya following the break-up of the Federation where it was photographed on 10th August 1979. It has since been sent to the Nairobi Railway Museum. (RD)
