Safari Steam North

The metre gauge railways in the Cameroons have long been dieselised. The country was firstly a German colony before coming under mainly French influence. The original railway ran from Douala on the coast to Yaoundé. Here a train for the latter leaves Douala station in May 1975. (DM)
