Safari Steam South

The north-south line through Botswana was part of Rhodesia Railways and its successor from its inception until 1st January 1987 when Botswana Railways took over. In the final days of steam on the mainline, 15A 402 was photographed at Francistown on a Bulawayo to Cape Town train on 22nd April 1973. (DM)
