Such events occur all over the country in the summer months, they are easily found by using your favourite search engine and may have anything between a handful of steam engines and hundreds (as at the Great Dorset Steam Fair which could probably be fairly described as having an excess of riches). After the previous year's showman special, it was a return to normality but there were still nearly 30 engines on show. Friday is not a good day for photography here, as many arrived during the day, most of the rest were being cleaned and polished. There was no new engine here for me and I gave this area a low priority...
