Heddington and Stockley Steam Rally and Country Fair, (1st - 2nd July, 2017)

Such events occur all over the country in the summer months, they are easily found by using your favourite search engine and may have anything between a handful of steam engines and hundreds (as at the Great Dorset Steam Fair which could probably be fairly described as having an excess of riches). I confess that I was not aware of this smaller than average event until I was told about it at the Wiltshire show a few weeks ago. We are looking to 'get off the beaten track' these days and we had a very pleasant time here in the middle of the Wiltshire countryside. Yuehong rated it A for atmosphere and I had no regrets about attending.
