Weeting Steam Engine Rally and Country Show (22nd - 24th July, 2022)

Weeting qualifies as a 'large' rally and in 2018 it had been its 50th and we had enjoyed a glorious full day in the sunshine. The 2022 rally got squeezed out of our calendar as we were heavily overdue a return to Masham since we hadn't been there since 2016. So as on other occasion this year, I am extremely grateful to collaborator Paul Gilbey for all the photographs here. It would have been warmer here than at Masham and there were twice as many engines...

There was a very good turnout which would have been even better were it not for the late cancellation of the EATES road run. Some engines from a fair distance were coming mainly for that and decided not to travel.
