Masham Steam Rally (16th - 17th July, 2022)

Unbelievably it turned out it was 6 years since we had enjoyed a memorable visit to Masham and, given the distance from home, I have an uncomfortable feeling that this may prove to be the last; we are not exempt from the effects of the chill economic winds that are blowing.

The weather in 2016 had been glorious and I was rewarded with a superb set of photographs and the same was true for 2022. The show was established to support the local Town Hall and continues to do so. The evening gathering in the market square was again a sight to behold.

As Masham is just down the road from Leeds, don't come here unless you are fond of Fowlers. Like Henry Ford's cars they tend to come in black which makes for challenging photography in the middle of the day.
