Lincoln Steam and Vintage Rally (19th - 20th August, 2023)

We went to Lincoln in 2013, 2016, 2019 and 2022, so you wouldn't need to be a genius to work out that we wouldn't plan to visit in 2023, instead I'm happy to present pictures from Paul Gilbey. I can well understand that he was as disappointed by the show's offering as we had been a year earlier. If anything it seems to have been an even weaker turn out than I 'enjoyed' and again, like me, he noticed that the rest of the show had been impacted too. Unlike us last year, he seems to have been unlucky with the weather as well.
Like us, he heard stories about the reasons for the downturn but it wouldn't help anyone if I were to repeat them here. I just hope they can get things sorted by next year so I will then have a good reason to continue my three year cycle in 2025.
