Here he found MS 69 leaving Mirpur Khas on MG-4 to Chhor just short of Khokhropar. This would normally have been covered by one of the larger 2-8-2s but today none was available. 69 had not long been rebuilt from PS 131, the main change would have been the provision of smaller driving wheels. (WL)
