Raj Steam - Eastern Railway

Rampurhat was not a junction but it did have a shed as it seems some local services terminated there. Probably the second tank was a later addition and the pond in the foreground would have acted as a reservoir for when it turned dry. Brian Manktelow recorded the scene on 11th January 1991. (BM)
