Raj Steam - South Central Railway

Jan Willem's 1983 SCR odyssey began in earnest with a full visit to the shed at Vijayawada on 16th August. Although the lettering on WP 7006 is in local script, it was in a standard SCR livery of the time. The offices behind include those of the 'Tool Checker' and 'Fuel Clerk', key assistants, no doubt, of the shed foreman. (JD)
