Raj Steam - North Eastern Railway Gallery

A fair number of P class 4-6-0 locomotives were from the former Oudh Tirhut Railway, built before the second world war. They were ideal for lightweight passenger trains and widely used on the railway until quite late on. Specially spruced up 31603 was at Kanpur Anwarganj shed on 9th November 1979. (BM)
