Raj Steam - North Eastern Railway

Chupra Kachery was a major junction where the lines from Gorakhpur and Varanasi combined to continue east. It had a substantial shed which Brian Manktelow visited on 2nd January 1990. The locomotive on the right is YP 2279 (Krauss Maffei 1954).  It was not a GITJ visit but he was not alone! (BM)
