Raj Steam - Western Railway Gallery

The YF locomotives on the Western Railway started life as 0-6-2s but many were soon rebuilt as 2-6-2s to improve stability and the rest were later transferred away. 30308 (Krupp 1930) seems to have been the last survivor, it was at Ajmer in February 1979, its working life finished. (KR)
