Raj Steam - South Eastern Railway

The Purulia - Kotshila line was the eastern third of a longer line whose middle section had been converted to broad gauge. The one train a day (except Sundays) had worked up tender first earlier and BC 651 waited to work the return on 2nd January 1981. A few years earlier the train had been worked by a CC Pacific. (BR)
