Raj Steam - Howrah Amta Light Railway

The first locomotive photographed was 33, one of the many 0-4-2T from a miscellany of builders that worked these lines. According to the lists in the CRC's Indian books by Hugh Hughes this had previously been 4G and 19 and was built at Martin's Bankra Works, presumably from either spare parts or parts supplied by Hunslet.
