Raj Steam - South Central Railway

There were two lines from Kurduvadi, one south and west to Miraj and one north through Barsi to Latur. On the first day of our visit we took an early morning train a short way on the line towards Miraj. With the sun just high enough for photography, F 2-8-2 722 was recorded at Laul. (RD)
