This section concludes with some pictures of F1023 at work beyond Solok on 22nd January 1978. First, the crew make final checks before departure of the loaded coal train from Sawahlunto. There is a short sharp climb to a tunnel before the line drops to Muaro Kalaban where the train will be checked. (RD)
