The Malayan Railway

The Malayan Railway had a number of these Wickham armoured railcars for patrolling the line ahead of trains. It would have been stiflingly hot inside them. This was AW 60, probably in Kuala Lumpur. One of these survived active into the 1970s used to shuttle staff between Falim shed and Ipoh station. (PH)
