The Malayan Railway

The passenger workings were shared with the tank engine version of the 56s, the class 40s. 403.04 has backed on to its train at Kuala Lumpur on 3rd February 1969 and is ready to depart. As most passenger trains departed in the mornings and evenings, it was very quiet in the middle of the day. (PH)
