The Malayan Railway

This is the same working on 20th February 1971 with power cars 281.06 and 281.14 approaching the flats seen in the background in previous photographs. The railcars were not air conditioned as can be seen and tended to be very hot and sticky to travel in. It only took one such journey for me to decide 'enough'. (PH)
