The Malayan Railway

This is the nearby Malaysian border station of Rantau Panjang. It was always busy as most cross border goods traffic filtered across informally so as to avoid duties and prohibitions. So much rice was transported on this train that the toilets were unusable and coach frames bent. (PH)
