For many years, the service from Tumpat to the Thai border station of Sungai Golok was in the hands of the wartime MacArthur 2-8-2s. Nearing the end of its working life, a rusty 901.27, with the tender off 901.11, shuffles around at Tumpat on 14th January 1972. (PH)
