The Malayan Railway

On an earlier visit, on 11th March 1969, 561.08 'Mersing' had arrived in Butterworth in the afternoon with the international express from Bangkok. As also seen in other pictures, the first wagon was an adapter wagon needed because while MR used a knuckle coupling, RSR used a buckeye coupling. (PH)
