The Malayan Railway

Previously, Peter had visited Alor Star on 23rd March 1970, during the late morning it was a busy location. At 09.30, railcars 28112 (front) and 28107 have arrived on the Butterworth - Haatyai train. The railcars 'did the job' but they were no pleasure to ride in for such a long, slow journey. (PH)
