West Sumatra

The second batch of E10 rack tanks was delivered in the 1960s, the last main line locomotives delivered to Indonesia. E1053, one of the Esslingen batch awaits the call to duty at Padang Panjang on 12th August 1983, the last time I saw steam at work in West Sumatra. (RD)
