The Oil Palm Railways of North Sumatra

Sawit Sebrang's Jung 0-8-0T, 5, was in fact a hybrid using the boiler off a scrapped DB Mallet. It was one of several locomotives in steam (and apparently underworked) when I visited on 17th March 1979. (RD)
