C2301 was a typical skirt tank posing for the camera after arrival at Gundih on 2nd October 1971. All were built by Hartmann and typically carried a large rounded worksplate on the dome. Classes C16, C17, C18 and C23 differed only slightly in design, principally in that the C16 and C18 were superheated. (BR)
