The most imposing sight in Indonesia was the front end of a CC50 2-6-6-0 compound Mallet. Although several sheds ran these locomotives, there was only one place to see them at work and that was at Cibatu in West Java, which usually had an allocation which was 100% Mallet. CC5012 brews up in the station before departing for Garut on 8th May 1976. (RD)
