The B12 were built in some numbers by Beyer Peacock and Werkspoor between 1891 and 1905, all the survivors seen in the 70s were in Surabaya, as was B1240 on 21st May 1976. B1239 is preserved outside Pasar Turi station in Surabaya. (RD)
