C5101

C5101 was constructed by Beyer Peacock (5593/1912). It was originally Nederlands Indische Spoorweg Mij 371. This 4-6-0 had two outside cylinders 400 x 508 mm with driving wheel diameter of 1260 mm. Boiler pressure was 12.7 kg/cm2, grate area 1.8 m2 with a heating surface of 71.4 m2 and a superheater surface of 16.5 m2. Overall weight was 35.8 tons with 25.1 tons available for adhesion. C5101 is preserved at the Ambarawa Railway Museum. Locomotives of this class were active around Bojonegoro and Cepu in East Java into the 1970s.
