C2501 was constructed by Hanomag (6799/1913). It was originally Probolinggo Stoomtram Mij 11. This 0-6-0 tram locomotive had two outside cylinders 340 x 370 mm with driving wheel diameter of 850 mm. Boiler pressure was 12.4 kg/cm2, grate area 0.7 m2 with a heating surface of 30.2 m2 and a superheater surface of 14.2 m2. Overall weight was 21.0 tons. C2501 is preserved at Taman Mini near Jakarta. These locomotives were mainly based at Jati (Probolinggo) into the 1970s although one of them was used as works shunter at Madiun for a long time.
