C2301

C2301

C2301 was constructed by Hartmann (3164/1908). It was originally Nederlands Indische Spoorweg Mij 263. This 0-6-0T had two inside cylinders 340 x 400 mm with driving wheel diameter of 1050 mm. Boiler pressure was 12.7 kg/cm2, grate area 0.9 m2 with a heating surface of 39.3 m2. Overall weight was 25.0 tons. C2301 is preserved at the Ambarawa Railway Museum. One of a number of similar 'skirt' tanks, all worked branches based on Gundeh and around Solo into the 1970s.
