B2220

B2220 was built by Hartmann (2568/1900). It was delivered as Nederlands Indische Spoorweg Mij 325. This 0-4-2 skirt tank locomotive was an inside cylinder compound with cylinders 280 x 400 mm and 415 x 400 mm with driving wheel diameter of 1058 mm. Boiler pressure was 12.7 kg/cm2, grate area 0.9 m2 with a heating surface of 39.3 m2. Overall weight was 25.1 tons with 16.8 tons available for adhesion. In the 1970s they were widely dispersed in Central Java particularly at Tegal and Purwodadi. B2220 is preserved at the Ambarawa Railway Museum.
