B1706

B1706 was built by Hohenzollern (1050/1897). It was originally Malang Stoomtram Mij 6. This 0-4-0 tram locomotive had two inside cylinders 270 x 400 mm with wheel diameter of 850 mm. Boiler pressure was 14.0 kg/cm2, grate area 0.7 m2 with a heating surface of 33.7 m2. Overall weight was 20.0 tons. In recent times all examples of this class were noted based at Ploso and Pare in East Java. B1706 is preserved at Taman Mini near Jakarta.
