A former Teresa Cristina Mikado

Former Teresa Cristina Railway metre gauge Alco Mikado #155, was built in 1941. The first picture, dated March 1977, shows #155 resting between duties, at the Tubarão shops of the Teresa Cristina. The second picture shows the same engine 17 years later (Dec.1994), preparing to depart from Morretes with the tourist train from Morretes to Antonina, in the state of Paraná. Fortunately, this engine is still in working condition, pulling occasional railfan trips and tourist charters.

Sergio Martire has sent another picture (9th March 2003) of 155 now working in R. Grande do Sul in the line called "Trem do Vinho " that runs between the city of Bento Goncalves and Carlos Barbosa.
