Safari Steam South

In Botswana steam survives at the Selebi-Phikwe copper mine. This picture shows the two main locomotive types at work on 26th April 1997. On the left is LO 804, ex-Rhodesia Railways 19th 322 while on the right is LO 810, ex-Rhodesia Railways 14A 523. The railway also has some ex-South African Railways 19D. (TS)
