Most of the freight traffic into and out of Lorenço Marques was headed for South Africa or Swaziland. This large Montreal Locomotives Works 4-8-2 in the 7xx number series would have been bound for the latter when it was photographed climbing hard in the early morning in July 1969. (BR)
