A small number of Pacifics operated on the CFM, primarily for passenger traffic in the coastal area around Lorenço Marques. Baldwin 4-6-2 304 (57397/1923) in the works yard in 1970 carried smoke deflectors as did sister locomotive 303. 302 and 305 were not so adorned - 301 was not seen intact by enthusiasts. (BR)
