41 is an Esslingen 0-6-4T (2835/1896) stored at Nampula on 9th October 1974. It was part of a large class of locomotives supplied to the Zuid-Afrikaansche Spoorweg-Maatschappij, in this case as 187. The ZASM was the South African part of the line inland from Lorenço Marques to the Transvaal. (PM)
