Orenstein and Koppel 0-6-0T 6997/1914 became CFM 1. Set aside in the works at Lorenço Marques in the early 1970s, it was photographed preserved at Nampula on 9th October 1974. Probably originally a colonial department locomotive, it may have worked in this area which might account for its long journey north. (PM)
