The revived railway offered a single train each week leaving at 07.00 on Friday morning which made it to Manjacaze for an overnight stay. Saturday was used for a run up the branch to Chicomo and back. In theory the train should have returned to Xai-Xai by Sunday evening but it often took most of Sunday night too. (PA)
