Lorenço Marques (now Maputo) was the centre for the southernmost lines. What distinguished this railway from others on this CD-ROM is that it was primarily organised to carry traffic through the country as opposed to within it. Here the 2-8-2T would be the docks shunter and 2-10-2 would head trains up-country. (BR)
