Companhia do Assucar de Angola (CAA) based in Benguela had an extensive 600mm gauge railway for sugar cane collection at Dombe Grande in October 1969. Being in the southern hemisphere, I would have to say that Jeff Lanham's visit would probably have been at the end of the season. (JL)
