Not all former EAR steam classes are included, the following were withdrawn well before this stock list was compiled and diagrams and photographs are absent from it:

20 Class 4-6-0, 50 Class 4-8-2 + 2-8-4 and 51 Class 4-8-2 + 2-8-4

The following classes shown below had actually all been withdrawn by 1975:

10 Class, 22 Class, 23 Class, 27 Class, 28 Class

Not included are the 'new' 28 Class 2-8-2, former Indian Railways YG locomotives.
