"Here I am sending a brief description of this metre gauge Borsig 4-8-0 formerly owned by Estrada de Ferro Araraquara. This engine is preserved as a static display next to Itapetininga station, some 120km from the state capital. São Paulo, very distant from its original tracks, as Itapetininga is a place served by the former Sorocabana railway. Another similar engine is preserved in working condition at Araraquara, where a short section of meter gauge track was laid, so the engine can perform some short rides for the local visitors."
