Sergio Martire writes: One of the best known railways in Brazil is the Sao Joao del Rey, 760mm gauge line with a Baldwin 280, (52256/1919). Currently this line is operated by Ferroovia Centro Atlantica for Rede Ferroviaria Federal, every Saturday and Sunday, linking Sao Joao del Rey to Tiradentes. The other serviceable steam locomotive is a Baldwin 4-6-0 (38010/1912).
