A Steam Powered Rice Mill near Sukhothai, Thailand

Jack Neville visited this mill at Ban Suan as part of an 'adventure holiday'. I don't normally give locations of such places but since this one is in the public domain and seems to be on the regular tourist path already there seems no point in concealing it!  The tandem compound engine appears to be a standard Bangkok built model, similar to the one I saw in another tourist area in 2006. The mode of operation is very familiar to me, this is a rice milling area we have not visited yet and if anyone knows any further examples it might give us an excuse to loosen the purse strings for another exploratory trip - Thailand is not cheap, the mills tend to be large and fairly repetitive in operation compared to Burma.
