DSM 28

28 was constructed by Hohenzollern (1632/1903). Deli Spoorweg Mij operated the railways around Medan in North Sumatra and its locomotives were never renumbered into the national system. This 0-4-4 had two outside cylinders 295 x 400 mm with driving wheel diameter of 1200 mm. Boiler pressure was 12.0 kg/cm2, grate area 0.9 m2 with a heating surface of 45.2 m2. Overall weight was 30.0 tons with 16.6 tons available for adhesion. 28 is preserved at Taman Mini near Jakarta.
